“For it is in giving that we receive.” – St. Francis of Assisi

Providence Care Centers has provided long and short-term care to residents and their families with a focus on the core values of reverence, integrity, compassion, and excellence for many years. With the philanthropic support of our donors, we are able to enhance the excellent care at Providence Care Centers and support initiatives that might not otherwise be available.

As a 501 (c)(3) organization, Providence Care Centers has made the commitment to provide the highest level of physical and spiritual care to all of our residents for as long as they need us, even if they have outlived their resources. Your charitable gifts help support residents on our campus who may require financial assistance. So you can see why your support is so important to our mission.

To continue to enhance our mission, we accept donations from individuals, corporations, and organizations who have an interest in seeing us continue our service to the residents, their families and the greater community. Contributions to Providence Care Centers may be sent us at:

Securities
Ownership of stocks and/or bonds can be transferred to Providence Care Centers as a charitable gift. The value of your gift depends upon the market price of these assets when they are given. You may be entitled to a significant charitable deduction on your income tax return for a gift of appreciated securities.

Planned Gifts
Making a planned gift to Providence Care Centers is a great way to ensure income for you and your beneficiary, achieve tax benefits and help make certain that quality care is available to our residents and their families for the future. Some examples of planned gifts include:

Bequest – Making a provision in your will or living trust of a specific dollar amount, the percentage of your estate will benefit Providence Care Centers A charitable bequest allows you to keep control of your assets during your lifetime and make a gift to Providence Care Centers at the same time while receiving a reduction in estate taxes. To ensure compliance with your wishes and to receive current recognition for your bequest gift, it is important to document your gift with us.
Life Insurance – A gift of life insurance often allows you to provide a more substantial gift in the future than you might think possible. Providence Care Centers could be the beneficiary of a paid-up/existing policy or a newly purchased policy. You receive a charitable deduction for the cash value of the policy and a deduction for the premiums going forward.
Retirement Plan Assets – IRAs, 401(k)s and other retirement benefits can be one of the most efficient forms of planned giving. By naming Providence Care Centers as a beneficiary for a percentage or specified amount of the account, estate and income taxes on that gift can be avoided entirely.
Charitable Remainder Unitrusts, Annuity Trusts, and Retained Life Estates – These are also mutually beneficial options for supporting Providence Care Centers and achieving tax benefits. Please contact your tax advisor for more information.
