AACA’s Adaptive Skills Trainer program focuses on practical, everyday skills needed to function and meet the individual demands of one's environment.  Adaptive Skills Training is a program for individuals with special needs and developmental disabilities to support, mentor and teach skills with the goal of increasing independence. AACA’s design offers one-to-one direct instruction in the home and community settings, with supervision and consultation to enhance the diverse needs of our students.
