Shooting is available for the general public on our Courtesy Range, which consists of 11 semi-private shooting bays varying from 25 to 200 yards, and a shotgun area that is limited to #6 shot or smaller, due to a restricted shot fall area. Public access is limited to Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays of each week, and Federal Monday Holidays between the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM unless posted at the entrance as closed for special events, or range maintenance. See our website at www.brpc1.org for calendars and notices of closures or special events. Our web site also gives the limits of caliber and ammunition that can be used on our ranges. Tannerite or fast burning and explosive targets are NOT ALLOWED.
Everyone is required to first stop and register at the Range Safety Office, sign the waiver of liability, and be assigned a shooting bay. Boulder Rifle and Pistol club reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who will not comply with our rules, or the instructions of our Range Safety Officers.
Shooting costs $10 for 2 hours of shooting, but everyone in attendance will be required to sign our waiver of liability (even if not shooting) to comply with our insurance requirements.
Wood targets are available for rent at the Range Safety Office for $10, however as of Jan 1, 2017 we will no longer offer the $5 refund, as the cost of building and providing these targets has increased our costs.
