At One Step Beyond, we believe every person should have the chance to be an active and productive member of society and be able to contribute to their own community and livelihood. As employment is an important factor for fulfilment and optimal self-reliance, we provide comprehensive programs to give participants the tools they need to take this important step.
Designed to simulate a real workplace, our training programs include everything needed to effectively pursue and maintain employment and are taught in a safe and controlled environment. Participants build skills in customer service, essential job duties, effective communication with co-workers and supervisors, managing timecards, and other work proficiencies.
To provide dynamic, responsive programs that engage the goals, talents and interests of individuals who have an intellectual disability and empower them to achieve their dreams of optimal independence, enriching social networks, and effective participation in our community.
