Tower tampering – cutting of steel, removing bolts, etc. – is a common threat posed by individuals of various motivations. Weakened towers can collapse at lower wind loads that originally designed for, or expected. The Lindsey TLSM™ Tower Security Monitor combines vibration and infra-red sensors to provide early warning of intrusion around the base of transmission towers; intrusion that may have compromised tower integrity. The TLSM Tower Security Monitor is also ideal for surveilling critical dead-end towers.

A member of the TLM-family of transmission line monitors, the TLM Security monitor is self-powered and can communicates via satellite radio, making it ideal for even the most remote tower locations.
