Upper District offers a variety of water conservation education programs for youth, teens, and adults.

Youth programs include the annual “Water is Life” poster competitionan art contest that encourages youth to express the value of water through their artwork, and the annual “Solar Cup” competition through which teens at participating high schools learn about the water and energy nexus.

Upper District also provides a variety of landscape water efficiency classes through the Metropolitan Water District.

Our watershed programs also offer volunteer opportunities as we look to stretch out water supplies by making sure that our forests, river, and streams are clean and healthy to support wildlife and people. Learn more about our Watershed Restoration Program.
