Each year approximately 80,000 Orange County elementary students participate in the FREE Water Education Assembly Program.  The Municipal Water District of Orange County and the Discovery Cube administer this innovative approach to water education.  El Toro Water District sponsors the elementary schools in our service area.  Public and private elementary schools within the El Toro Water District service area are eligible for this free water education program.

The program consists of six grade-specific water education assemblies (1st-6th). Topics covered to satisfy the Next Generation California State Science Standards for each grade level. The goal is to educate students about the importance and value of water, the water cycle, water supply, water conservation and the personal responsibility we all have as environmental stewards.
