The Surgery Department at Minidoka Memorial Hospital is a full-service hospital-based Surgical Center, serving Minidoka County since 1960. Since its beginning, MMH has seen a steady increase in surgical patients; both inpatient and same day surgery. We are proud to offer the latest, up-to-date technology and state-of-the-art equipment to help serve the needs of our community.
The Surgical Services Department is open Monday thru Friday weekly, depending on provider schedules. Hours are from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM. One RN and one CST are on call at all times outside of normal business hours to accommodate emergency needs. This includes holidays and weekends. Other staffing includes five peri-operative Registered Nurses (RN), one Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), and one Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who performs at a Scrub Nurse Level. We are proud to boast our average tenure is 12.5 years, offering expertise in every aspect of Surgical Care.
