The Animal Control Department's mission is to work with local government, citizens, animal rescues, and others to promote responsible animal care, enforcement of local ordinances, and the rescue sheltering, or adoption of animals without homes in Minidoka County, Idaho.
The Office of the County Assessor is primarily concerned with determining equitable values on both real and personal property for tax purposes.
The Coroner is required to hold inquests as prescribed in the Penal Code (§31-2801, I.C.), to provide for the burial of unclaimed bodies (§31-2802, I.C.), to handle and properly dispose of property found on corpses (§§31-2803 and 2804, I.C.), and to act as Sheriff under certain circumstances (§§31-2806 and 2807, I.C.).
