Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) are very common.  STDs are caused by STIs that have been passed from one person to another during sexual contact.  If you have been sexually active you may already have an STI and not know it.  Once an STI produces symptoms it is then referred to as an STD.  If you have had sexual contact without using condoms or other barriers your risk is heightened.

The Pregnancy Resource Center can help answer your questions about STIs, explain how to reduce your chances of contracting an STI, and explain where to obtain confidential STI testing.  All of our services are Free and Confidential.
