The Guest House is the perfect setting for events like family/friends’ reunions, golf/boating vacations, girls get-away or family vacations. In addition to multiple days stays, it is also a great site for one-day events such as birthday parties, baby showers, graduation receptions, etc. The proximity to Lake Shelbyville also makes it a great option for those traveling to the area for hunting or fishing tournaments.

The front porch is a perfect spot to take in a peaceful country breeze and keep an eye on the Polled Hereford cattle that graze the pasture surrounding the property.

The property features four bedrooms—one with a King, one with a Queen, one with an antique Double and the fourth bedroom is set up with a Double bed and 3 Twin beds—along with two full bathrooms, one on each floor. There is a walk-in shower in one bath and a clawfoot tub in the other bath. Linens are provided in this home that sleeps up to 11. In addition to the 4 bedrooms, there are two sleeper sofas on the upper floor that provide some flexibility for the number of guests that can be accommodated,

Fully furnished kitchen and laundry facilities are also key features of this unique country farmhouse. Table seating and place settings are provided for up to 16 people. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, coffee-maker, toaster, electric stove/oven as well as cooking utensils.

A huge yard is available for outdoor games. There is plenty of parking for cars, boats, or an RV.
