Dealing with a critical illness can be dauntless, foreboding and downright scary. As wish kid Rebeca shares, "Knowing you could die is such a weird and sad feeling, especially when you're so young.” That's why it's so important for wish kids and their families to feel safe and welcomed when they visit The Wishing Place.
In early 2017, Make-A-Wish® Southern Nevada moved into a new space that furthers our mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. The Wishing Place is a labor of love and the perfect example of community partners working together to help us grant the wish of every eligible child.
