NHSSN helped establish a new collaboration with other non-profits organizations called, “The Community Partnership for Opening Doors,” which has a simple goal of moving individuals and families from (1) homelessness to (2) affordable rentals to (3) permanent home ownership. The Collaboration has been going for about 6 months and has shown to be highly successful. Over 7 families and 2 young adults have been helped in this Program so far. More referrals are taking place each month. Below is a description of how the Collaboration of non-profit organizations works:
