Successful matriculation into a mainstream school involves more than just having a high-quality education. Your child must also be well-rounded, with ample exposure to a broad range of experiences and people.

This is why we encourage active participation in extracurricular activities – especially those with hearing peers. Doing so can help:

• Broaden your child’s horizons.

• Improve his or her social skills. 

• Facilitate communication practice. 

CCHAT faculty members will work closely with you to identify ways to mainstream your child in age-appropriate extracurricular activities.
