The Regional Community Institute of Northeast Florida recently completed First Coast Vision, a 50-year vision for growth and development in the seven county Region. This will be considered as the NEFRC updates the Regional Plan.
Strategic Directions, Northeast Florida's current Strategic Regional Policy Plan, is the Region's long-range guide for the physical, economic, and social development of the Region. The Plan was adopted July 10, 1997 and replaced the 1987 Comprehensive Regional Policy Plan. The Strategic Regional Policy Plan may be found at this link: www.nefrc.org/srpp.htm. An assessment of the Strategic Regional Policy Plan was completed in February 2011. An update to the Strategic Regional Policy Plan is currently underway.
