Friends of the Nevada Southern Railway, Inc.

Members receive free train rides, free admission to state museums and discounts on gift shop purchases. Volunteer opportunities include train crew (engineer, conductor, brakeman, car attendant) and docents. Regular excursion train schedules are weekends FNSR supports the museum and its activities through members and member-supported programs.

The Friends operate permanent model railroads of various scales including HO and O-gauge layouts and a large, 7.5-inch gauge, live steam railroad. The Friends supports educational programs and visitors through staffing, maintenance, operations, construction and restoration of historic railroad equipment and models. Paid FNSR) is a Nevada Corporation, founded in 2007, and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
