Lend A Hand of Boulder City

about
For over 20 years Lend A Hand of Boulder has helped seniors and disabled residents remain independent in their homes. We help over 400 people each year.

We provided escorted transportation, in-home services, and equipment loan .

A small part-time paid staff coordinates matching our client requests with service by our cadre of caring, trained volunteers.

Many low income seniors would not have services it we weren't available.

Whether a person needs temporary help doing chores after an injury, or has ongoing needs, Lend A Hand of Boulder City may be able to help.

A needs assessment at the person's home is the place to start.

We are a non-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) tax exempt status.

Governance is provided by an all-volunteer Board of Trustees who represent community organizations, local churches, and citizens at-large.

Founded by caring local residents and organizations over 25 years ago, Lend A Hand has continuously helped Boulder City senior and disabled residents remain independent in their homes with dignity and basic services.

Each year our volunteers serve over 400 clients, most of whom are low income. We are donation based; clients may donate if they choose.

In addition, the community generously supports Lend A Hand financially and through volunteer hours.

Over 60 volunteers provide transportation services, 30 provide in-home services, and 5 supplement our office staff.
