Welcome To

The Herald, Inc.

The Herald, Inc. is one of the largest sheet-fed printers in the state of Ohio. We also have a large digital press department and were a leader in the early development of digital printing in Ohio. Located in New Washington, a small town in the heart of North Central Ohio, we are a short drive from any city in the northern half of the state. Not that it matters, because our custom courier service is on-call five days a week to provide pick-ups and deliveries all over Ohio.

The Herald Inc. is one of the oldest continuously operating printers in the Midwest. Our humble beginnings date back to February 1881 as a small weekly newspaper, which we still print 50 weeks out of the year. The company has seen the evolution of printing from movable type, through the hot-metal Linotype, to today's high-speed technology evolution which opens new frontiers for better quality and more efficient production equipment and techniques.

The Herald operates full integrated Pre-press, Printing (both sheet-fed and digital), Binding and Fulfillment plants totaling over 70,000 sq. ft.

The account base is primarily regional, however, it spreads from San Francisco to New York and Florida to Mississippi to Ypsilanti.
