St. Damien Pediatric Hospital Fund, established in 1989 in Tabarre, Haiti, is the sole facility dedicated exclusively to pediatric and prenatal care in the nation. Founded by Fr. William Wasson and Fr. Rick Frechette through NPH/NPFS, the hospital addresses critical health needs by providing essential medical services to children and pregnant women. With over 500 local employees, including 300 healthcare professionals, St. Damien not only offers lifesaving treatments but also contributes to the local economy. Despite Haiti's severe challenges, the hospital remains committed to delivering compassionate and equitable healthcare, supported by private donations and global support.
