Small Farms Programs

The Small Farms Program at Iowa State University Extension and Outreach delivers targeted support to rural Iowans by connecting them with valuable agricultural resources and programs. Serving small farmers, acreage owners, and agricultural service providers across the state, the Small Farms Team offers a variety of outreach channels, including a bi-monthly newsletter, monthly podcast, social media updates, an annual conference, and educational workshops. These efforts are designed to provide accessible, research-based information that supports the success and sustainability of Iowa’s small-scale agricultural operations.
