Steps for Surrendering an Animal

To surrender an animal to Animal Rescue of Carroll, please begin by completing the Owner Surrender Form and emailing photos of your pet to animalrescueofcarroll@yahoo.com. A representative will contact you when space becomes available; if the shelter is at capacity, you will be placed on a waiting list. While we cannot guarantee a specific wait time, we will notify you as soon as we are able to accept your animal. A surrender fee of $20 per adult animal (6 months and older) and $5 per animal under 6 months is required. Once surrendered, animals will be evaluated and may be placed for adoption. Donating any pet supplies, such as food, bowls, crates, or toys, is encouraged to help ease the pet’s transition.
