English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program at Miami Beach Adult and Community Education Center provides adult learners with the language skills needed for daily life, education, and employment in the U.S. With three tailored instructional tracks Literacy Skills for non-literate or semi-literate learners, Adult ESOL for those with basic literacy in another language, and ELCATE for career-focused, advanced learners the program addresses a wide range of needs. Through targeted instruction and a supportive environment, ESOL students gain the tools to achieve greater independence and pursue personal, academic, and professional goals.
