Miami Beach Adult and Community Education Center utilizes standardized assessments to ensure accurate educational placement and support student success. ESOL students take the CASAS language placement test, while those enrolling in ABE, GED, or career and technical programs of 450 hours or more are required to take the TABE. These assessments help determine academic readiness, guide individualized instruction, and support progress toward program goals and completion. Additional evaluations may be used to define occupational objectives.
