With automated trash collection, Carroll Refuse Service uses trucks with a mechanical arm to safely and efficiently lift, empty, and return curbside trash carts—allowing one operator to complete collection quickly and consistently. Guidelines:

• Bag all trash when possible and ensure the lid closes completely
• Place carts at the curb by 6:00 AM on pickup day, wheels facing in
• Keep carts 5 feet from obstructions and recycling bins
• Prohibited items: hot ashes, hazardous waste, batteries, liquids, and heavy debris such as concrete, rocks, or metal.
