The Nevada Equal Rights Commission (NERC), under the State of Nevada’s Department of Employment, Training & Rehabilitation in Las Vegas, is dedicated to protecting individuals from discrimination and promoting fairness throughout the state. NERC investigates complaints of discrimination in employment, housing, and public accommodations, addressing issues such as hiring, promotions, harassment, rental practices, lending, and access to public spaces. Guided by a legacy of leadership since its first chair, Dr. Bob Bailey, NERC continues to champion equal opportunity and uphold civil rights for all Nevadans.
