Waiver Programs

Family Resource Center’s Medicaid Waiver services give individuals with disabilities the support and choice needed to live as independently as possible in their home communities. We work closely with individuals, families, guardians, and volunteers to ensure each person’s needs are met with care and respect.

Waiver services include:

  • Supported Community Living (SCL): Guidance to build daily living skills at home and in the community
  • Respite: Short-term relief for parents or guardians through temporary care
  • Consumer-Directed Attendant Care (CDAC): Assistance with tasks that support independent living
  • Home-Based Habilitation: Skill development for greater independence
  • Interim Medical Monitoring & Treatment (IMMT): Medical support and monitoring in the home

Waiver programs include:

  • Brain Injury: For individuals with non-degenerative brain injuries
  • Children’s Mental Health: For children with serious emotional disturbances
  • Elderly: For adults age 65 and older
  • Habilitation: For adults with psychiatric histories who need support with daily living skills
  • Intellectual Disability: For individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities who received special education services before age 18
