The City of Lake Helen makes it easy to keep our community clean with convenient trash and recycling services. Trash is collected on Tuesdays and Fridays, while recycling and yard waste are picked up on Wednesdays. Yard waste such as clippings, palm fronds, and small branches should be bundled or containerized for easy collection, with bundles not exceeding six feet in length or fifty pounds in weight. Recycling items include aluminum, glass, cans, plastics, paper, and cardboard. For recycling bins, hazardous waste details, or additional questions, residents can reach out to City Hall, the County of Volusia, or Waste Pro of Florida for assistance.
