The Affordable Care Act introduces new incentives and enhances existing wellness program policies to foster healthier workplaces. The Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS), Labor, and the Treasury have jointly proposed new rules to update wellness provisions under the Affordable Care Act, promoting well-designed, consumer-friendly wellness programs in group health coverage.
