Domestic workers care for our families and homes, yet too often face low pay, unsafe conditions, and a history of being excluded from basic labor protections. Arise Chicago supports these essential workers by advancing fair standards, helping enforce Chicago’s protections like paid sick days and written contracts, and providing resources such as sample agreements in multiple languages. Through organizing and advocacy, domestic workers are gaining the recognition, rights, and respect they have long deserved.
