At Compacting Tooling in McKeesport, PA, our Precision Machining department is equipped to handle projects of all sizes with a full range of advanced equipment. Our capabilities include eight lathes, from a high-precision Harding collet lathe to a large NILES lathe with a 24-inch swing capacity, along with seven Bridgeport Knee Mills, a Cincinnati slab mill for roughing, and a Haas CNC Turning Center capable of machining parts up to 12 inches in diameter and 52 inches long. Our CNC department features two CNC mills designed for shaping complex tooling and engraving, programmed either directly at the machine or through a Master cam for intricate work. With expertise in machining plastics such as DELHI, as well as aluminum and various powder metal tool steels, our team combines skill and technology to deliver precise, reliable results for a wide range of applications.
