The SoLa College Scholarship Fund, established in 2018, empowers South Los Angeles students by providing scholarships ranging from $10,000 to full-ride awards, supporting 161 emerging leaders with a total of $1.73 million awarded to date. SoLa Scholars are selected for their civic engagement and commitment to social responsibility, fostering a diverse community of innovators who use higher education as a platform for social change. Beyond financial support, scholars receive career coaching, internship opportunities, year-round community engagement, and annual care packages, creating a holistic ecosystem that guides them to graduation while maintaining strong connections to their roots.
