Dyaku.U

Dyaku.U is a Ukrainian Thanksgiving festival first held on November 23, 2024, in Southern California as a powerful expression of gratitude from Ukrainians to the United States and the American people for their critical support at the onset of the full-scale war in Ukraine. Organized by the charitable organization Heartbeat with AP and initiated by its founder Anastasiia Polo, the festival brought together more than 700 participants from diverse cultural backgrounds to honor solidarity, compassion, and the role of Southern California in aiding Ukrainian refugees. Established as an annual tradition, Dyaku. U channels all proceeds to the Unbroken Gen project, supporting the rehabilitation and development of children affected by war while uniting communities around a shared commitment to Ukraine’s future.
