Mountain View Club

Built in 1942 during World War II, the Mountain View Club provided a dedicated gathering place for African American officers at a time when the U.S. military was still segregated. It served as a welcoming retreat for officers of the 92nd and 93rd Infantry Divisions, trained at Fort Huachuca for service in Europe and the Pacific, offering them comfort and community during their off-duty time.
