Miami Beach declared a state of emergency and curfew after student spring riots

The Florida city of Miami Beach (USA) declared a state of emergency on Monday and imposed a curfew to counteract the disorders registered during the weekend; that left five people wounded by gunshots, in the middle of spring break.

The curfew will come into effect from this Thursday and will last until Monday; and it will be between 12 in the morning and 6:00 in the morning, according to a press conference by the city administrator, Alina Hudak, who added that the measure will be applied in the portion of the city that goes from the street 23 to its southern limit.
