Individuals and businesses often request either a money order or cashiers checks for larger purchases because the funds are guaranteed by the bank. Both forms of payment function much like checks and are considered a more secure form of payment.

To obtain a money order or cashiers check from U.S. Bank, you must have a U.S. Bank checking, savings or money market account. A check fee may apply.
