Take in views of Steinaker State Park on the way to this grand sandstone natural arch hidden in the cliffs just north of Vernal. This is a scenic ride overlooking the valley below. Moonshine Arch reaches a magnificent 40 feet tall and 85 feet long! On this trail, you will be able to see the open areas of caves and caverns, but best of all we know where the arch is! Many people try to locate it on their own and sadly return home without finding it. This trail is great for those of you who want to add a little exploring on foot under and around the majesty of the Moonshine Arch. The colors are truly spectacular as the sun sets! Make sure you have your camera handy as you will want some photos of the beautiful arch. This is a definite must-see!
