Family medicine is the medical specialty that provides continuing, comprehensive health care for the individual and family. The scope of family medicine encompasses all ages and genders and can address a variety of diseases or conditions affecting the human body. Except for our WIC offices and certain mobile services, all NVHC locations offer family medicine.
Family medicine includes but is not limited to:
- Routine exams and screenings
- Well-child visits
- Immunizations
- Treatment of chronic conditions, like diabetes and hypertension
