Recreation

The Shoshone-Paiute Tribes Recreation Program is part of the Owyhee Community Health Facility. The Recreation program is here to provide the community with activities, to enhance their physical, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being. We strive to provide a place where people can come to be with friends, family, and colleagues alike to exercise and play together, making leisure time more meaningful.

The Recreation Program also provides a facility that the community can utilize for birthday parties, meetings, powwows, funerals, and a place to get some much-needed exercise. The recreation staff prides itself in providing valuable information to individuals or groups when it comes to exercise, nutrition, tobacco, and recreational activities. We welcome everybody.
