Mosquitoes
Mosquitoes are an annoyance that people in San Antonio deal with all year long. While the bites and buzzing are irritating, mosquitoes pose a much greater threat than that. There are over one hundred species of mosquitoes in North America, and at least 60 of these carry and transmit serious diseases. Malaria, encephalitis, yellow fever, and the Zika virus are just a few of the diseases mosquitoes carry.
