The Southern Wasco County Library is part of the Wasco County Service District and serves a population of 2,100 from a large geographic region that includes Maupin, Pine Grove, Tygh Valley, Wamic, Pine Hollow, Rock Creek, and Shaniko.
Our mission: To be a culturally-inclusive space for the entire South Wasco County community and develop programs that are sustainable and exciting. We promote curiosity, celebrate diversity, and are mindful of the many ways it means to be literate in the 21st century.
