"This is Active RVA" is a dynamic initiative by Sports Backers with a remarkable two-decade legacy of fostering and advocating for an active lifestyle among the residents of Richmond. Our impact has been profound, with tens of thousands of individuals who have engaged in Sports Backers' events and training teams embracing physical activity as a core part of their daily lives. In collaboration with numerous partner organizations, we are dedicated to elevating the quality of life for all Richmonders through a multifaceted approach encompassing policy advocacy, engaging programming, and the development of impactful physical projects.
