STAR Lab, the collaborative venture between SARSEF and the University of Arizona's Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, offers a remarkable opportunity for dedicated high school students. This program provides mentorship, research supplies, lab facilities, and a platform for authentic research projects. If you are a student aged 16 or above, with a commitment to in-depth, long-term research and the ability to dedicate 5-10 hours a week to your investigation with a mentor, STAR Lab welcomes your application. In the 2023-2024 academic year, the program offers both in-person and remote participation options, ensuring accessibility across the state of Arizona. Regardless of the chosen pathway, all STAR Lab student researchers will engage in weekly online lab meetings, fostering collaboration and scientific exploration as they embark on their journey into the world of research.
