Lake Ahquabi State Park boasts a captivating 115-acre man-made lake, featuring a spacious sandy beach designated for unsupervised swimming. During the peak season, from Memorial Day through Labor Day, park-goers can indulge in the rental of paddleboats, canoes, and kayaks from the concessionaire adjacent to the beach. With two boat ramps, a universally accessible fishing pier, and an abundance of fishing jetties, the lake provides a haven for anglers of all skill levels, offering excellent opportunities to catch panfish, largemouth bass, and channel catfish—all within the tranquil confines of a "no-wake" speed zone.
