Our dedicated student volunteers make weekly visits to their assigned clients, ensuring consistent support and companionship. Working in pairs, our students assist with various household tasks, including housework, meal preparation, and grocery shopping, among others. These visits are not only about providing practical help but also about fostering understanding and empathy. Clients play a vital role in this exchange by sharing their experiences of living with chronic illness, navigating the healthcare system, or aging in place, enriching the student volunteers' learning experience while building meaningful connections.
