The Small Business Administration (SBA) extends a range of loan programs to aid businesses encountering hurdles in securing conventional financing. One such initiative, the Community Advantage (CA) Pilot Loan Program, was established in 2011 with a targeted focus on underserved communities. Aimed at bridging the credit divide, this program facilitates access to smaller-dollar loans for early-stage, veteran-owned, and/or businesses situated in low-income or rural areas. Through the CA pilot program, B: Side Capital has allocated over $13.4 million to 82 small businesses, resulting in the creation or preservation of 426 jobs.
