Town Justice Court

Mission Statement

The mission of the Town of Wawarsing Court is to ensure justice, thereby serving and protecting the public by: Providing access to fair, just and understandable forums for the timely resolution of differences and disputes; Applying and enforcing all laws in a timely and equitable manner; and taking appropriate corrective, remedial, rehabilitative and preventive actions and using appropriate progressive programs.

Non-Criminal Traffic Matters are heard on Wednesday's 1:00 pm as well as Small Claims and Civil matters. We do not plea bargain by mail if you would like the court to consider a reduction, you or your attorney must make a court appearance. If you wish to plead not guilty fill out section B on your uninformed ticket and return by mail to the address located on the bottom of the ticket. The court will respond with a court date if you chose to plead guilty fill out section A and the court will respond with a fine notice. Please verify that the information on the ticket is accurate.
