Spiders and their control

In Texas, spiders are predominantly beneficial as they prey on harmful insects like mosquitoes. Increasingly, customers are opting to leave spiders outside their homes untouched, particularly on less visible sides. However, some spiders can deliver painful, itchy, and swelling bites, with the black widow and brown recluse spiders posing serious medical risks, even death. If found near or inside a home, extermination is advised due to health concerns. Regarding other spider species, customer preference varies; some tolerate spiders in certain areas, while others prefer them removed. During insect treatments, spiders are typically treated unless specified otherwise by the customer.
