School Age Care

School Age Care (SAC) by the 412th Force Support Squadron at Edwards AFB, CA, provides child care for children aged 5 to 12, with before and after-school programs as well as full-day care during school breaks and summer camps. Located next to the Child Development Center, SAC offers a variety of activities through partnerships with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) and 4-H, promoting cognitive, social, and emotional growth. SAC is nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) and provides transportation to and from on-base schools, along with USDA-approved meals and snacks. Registration for care is handled through the militarychildcare.com website, with fees based on Total Family Income. The Youth Sponsorship Program helps newcomers connect with peers to ease the transition to the base.
