In the sacrament of Matrimony, the love uniting a couple mirrors Christ's love for the Church. This sacrament grants spouses the grace to love each other as Christ loves the Church, perfecting their human love, strengthening their unity, and guiding them toward eternal life. Marriage establishes a lifelong partnership ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of children. At Our Lady of the Snows, we celebrate the sacrament of Matrimony with a public Church liturgy, reflecting its sacred and communal nature.
