Arizona G&T Cooperatives is dedicated to advancing renewable energy solutions. At the Apache Generating Station, the Apache Solar I project delivers 20 megawatts of solar power, supported by 3000 panels across 134 acres. Additionally, the SunAnza project, a collaboration with Anza Electric Cooperative, features a 3.4-MW solar array coupled with a 4 MWh battery storage system, enhancing energy reliability for the high-desert community of Anza, California. These initiatives not only support local energy needs but also contribute to meeting state renewable standards and optimizing energy costs during peak times.
